Immunization Requirements
New York State Public Health Law, requires all students enrolled in six or more credits must be fully compliant with the below immunization requirements.
Immunization compliance is outlined as follows:
Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR) | As per New York State Public Health Law 2165, all undergraduate and graduate students, including visiting students, born on or after January 1, 1957, enrolled for 6 or more credits must provide the school with documentation of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella. Documentation can be through proof of vaccine history, documented history of illness, or immunity proven by serologic testing. |

Measles | Measles: 2 doses required |
1st Dose must have been given no more than 4 days prior to the student's first birthday. 2nd Dose must be at least 28 days after the 1st dose. |
Mumps | Mumps: 1 dose required | Dose must have been given no more than 4 days prior to the student's first birthday. |
Rubella | Rubella: 1 dose required | Dose must have been given no more than 4 days prior to the student's first birthday. |
Meningococcal Meningitis | New York State Law 2167 requires institutions, including colleges and universities, to distribute information about meningococcal disease and vaccination to all students-undergraduate, graduate and visiting-meeting the enrollment criteria, whether they live on or off campus. | Students are required to submit proof of immunization against meningococcal meningitis or that they have received and reviewed the information provided and understand the risks of meningitis and the benefits of immunization, and have decided not to obtain the vaccine. |
Students must submit proof of MMR vaccine compliance and submission of completed Meningitis Form by the start of term.
Please note that according to NYS Public Health Law, no institution shall permit any student to attend an in-person class on campus in excess of 30 days from the start of the term without complying with this law. All students restricted from coming to campus will remain enrolled in their in person classes and will be responsible for any and all work.

Please make sure you complete the Immunization Form using the before the start of term. Please note that according to NYS Public Health Law, no institution shall permit any student to attend an in-person class on campus in excess of 30 days from the start of the term without complying with this law. All students restricted from coming to campus will remain enrolled in their in-person classes and will be responsible for any and all work.
