My name is Linda Sherman – Atkins and I am both a Medical Laboratory Scientist and an Assistant Professor, in the Clinical Laboratory Science Program, at ÃÍÄÐÇ鱨¾Ö.. I am board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as both a Generalist and Specialist in Hematology. I currently work part time as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, at a Medical Center. And in addition to teaching in the CLS Program at ÃÍÄÐÇ鱨¾Ö, I also am the Clinical Coordinator.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  And earned a Master’s Degree in Biology, with a MBA minor, at Seton Hall University.

Professor Atkins teaches upper level 400 courses to Clinical Laboratory Science students in their final year of the Program. She also coordinates with the Clinical sites and students throughout the required Clinical Internships.

Linda Sherman-Atkins is active and volunteers, for The American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science. And has received both the Omicron Sigma Award in Recognition for Outstanding Service ( 2017-2019). And the Constituent Society Member of the Year Award in 2020.
