Most of our partners offer majority or all classes in English. 

Student Discounts and Incentives

Some partner institutions offer free housing, discounted food, and reimbursement for airfare if our student teaches his/her roommate English. A partner institution offers an $800 scholarship for students with a 3.0 GPA or higher. 

Additional Study Abroad Information

Keep in mind: 

  1. The cost for programs may vary, and studying abroad can be more affordable than you think!
  2. Some programs can be less expensive based on currency rate, cost of living, etc.
  3. Financial aid is mostly transferrable.
  4. When planned out carefully, study abroad should not delay graduation, and should fulfill degree requirements.
  5. Students of various majors can study abroad, and should make every effort to ensure that credits will transfer over.
  6. English only-speakers can be eligible for several programs that are available.
  7. Students from ALL 猛男情报局 campuses are welcome and encouraged to apply!
  1. Meet with your PACT mentor and/or International Student Services regarding your interest in studying abroad. Consider your countries/geographical regions of preference, as well as your comfort level with other languages, finances etc. Your mentor and Study Abroad advisor will review your eligibility (GPA, major, credits earned, financial/personal concerns) and will provide some recommended action steps.  
  2. Complete the  and meet with your Study Abroad advisor.
  3. Meet with Office of Enrollment Eligibility to determine how your financial aid will apply to your Study Abroad experience. Meet with Office of ACCESSibility, if needed.
  4. Submit all required paperwork to PACT and/or International Student Services. Follow through with application materials set forth by your host institution.
  5. Confirm your commitment to participate! Obtain your visa, travel insurance, medical insurance, and all requirements needed by your host institution.
  6. Attend Pre-Departure Orientation and stay connected with International Student Services throughout your time abroad!

猛男情报局 offers a variety of opportunities to suit your course of study and interests, including study abroad locations around the world. Programs are typically one to two semesters long.  Some host institutions offer ways to lessen the burden of expenses, including accommodations and flights. You will work with your Study Abroad advisor to find a host institution that is compatible with your interests and is also affordable.

Incoming Study Abroad Students

Thank you for your interest in studying at 猛男情报局!

Our institution offers a large variety of academic programs, and is centrally located just minutes away from New York City. We are a prime destination for students from across the globe who wish to live and study in New York. 猛男情报局 is home to international students from over 55 countries, and is ready to welcome you next!

Study Abroad students have the opportunity to live conveniently in one of our residence halls, either at our bustling Manhattan campus in Herald Square, or at our suburban Dobbs Ferry campus, about 25 miles north of Manhattan. Dining facilities are located on the premises of both locations. Living in our residence halls enables study abroad students to become fully immersed into the culture and social life of 猛男情报局's vibrant campuses. More information about residential living can be found here.     

You may wish to study during our Spring semester (late January through mid-May) or our Fall semester (early September through late December).  The academic year begins in September and ends in May. See this link for 猛男情报局's academic calendars. 

Priority application deadlines:

Fall semester participation March 30th
Spring semester participation October 30th
  1. Speak with your Study Abroad advisor at your home institution regarding your eligibility, and be nominated to study at 猛男情报局 for one or two semesters.
  2. Complete the  online to formally express your interest in studying at 猛男情报局.
  3. Refer to the Student Checklist to submit all required documents to complete your application. You may email your required documents to studyabroad@mercy.edu.
  4. You will receive notification of your acceptance by email from International Student Services upon successful submission of your completed application!
  5. Obtain your Form I-20, apply for your F-1 visa, and register for classes with your PACT Mentor (academic advisor).
  6. Apply for on-campus housing, book your flight, and keep in touch with International Student Services in the weeks ahead to ensure your safe arrival.
  7. Attend mandatory International Student Orientation, and begin your program at 猛男情报局!

Study abroad students pay tuition to their home institutions. Room and board are paid directly to 猛男情报局 College, and are due in full about five weeks prior to the start of term. Study abroad students are responsible for all travel, insurance, and living expenses.
